Food has always been more than just food to me — it’s been a lifeline. I grew up in and out of foster care, experienced poverty, and was on my own early in life. But one thing that always brought me comfort was cooking. From yelling “BAM!” with my grandfather watching Emeril, to feeding the whole neighborhood out of my tiny first kitchen — food has always meant family, healing, and joy.

Now, I’m sharing that joy with all of you through made-with-love plates and full-service catering. Each dish is crafted with care, inspired by flavors from all over the world — from soul food to Caribbean favorites, Latin dishes to comforting classics — there’s something here for everyone.

My 8-year-old son, who’s on the autism spectrum, has recently opened up to exploring new foods, and my 1-year-old daughter is already my tiny sous-chef — always in the kitchen, sampling, stirring, and soaking in every moment, always by my side.

Kizzy’s Kitchen is a family effort, and every plate we make comes from the heart.
